Arlington - RECITAL WEEK - Children's Program and Performance Company

Welcome to Recital Week Children's Program and Performance Company Families!

Leveled Students

Students in Leveled classes (ages 7+, Ballet 1, Tap 2, Acro 3, etc.) all you need to know is that there are NO CLASSES Sat 5/23-Sun 5/31 and that if you'd like to attend and watch our adorable Children's Program dancers and amazing Performance Company dancers, we'd love to have you. Tickets are available here. Your special recital time is coming in June!

Children's Program and Performance Company Students:

Sat 5/23-Mon 5/25 - NO CLASSES

  • No Classes, enjoy your Memorial Day Holday, rest up for recital, make sure you have your dance shoes & costume ready to go.
  • Got questions? Please EMAIL the front desk!

Tue 5/26 & Thu 5/28 - DRESS REHEARSALS at Justice High School [ADDRESS/DIRECTIONS]

  • No normal classes
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your dress rehearsal slot.
  • Please arrive at Dress Rehearsal in costume, with hair and make-up done, ready to dance!
  • If you have multiple costumes, make sure you know which costume to arrive in, (see the Dress Rehearsal Order) and be sure to bring your additional costumes/accessories/tights/shoes WELL ORGANIZED IN A GARMENT BAG, ALL ITEMS LABELED WITH THEIR NAME, to help facility smooth costume changes.
  • Please send only ONE parent or guardian into the green room or dressing room area to sign your dancer in.
  • Each Dress Rehearsal slot should be 1 hour long; students need to stay to the end of each time slot to practice the curtain call.
  • Drop-off dancers through Door 18 and then go around to Door 19 to watch Dress Rehearsal and wait for your dancer in the auditorium. 

Wednesday 5/27 & Friday 5/29 - NO CLASSES

  • No Classes, rest up for recital, make sure you have your dance shoes & costume ready to go!

Saturday 5/30 RECITALs at Justice High School [ADDRESS/DIRECTIONS]

  • No normal classes
  • Please arrive 30 minutes before your recital (9:30 for the 10am recital, 11:30 for the 12pm recital, etc).
  • Please arrive at recital in costume, with hair and make-up done, ready to dance!
  • If you have multiple costumes, make sure you know which costume to arrive in, (see the Recital Order) and be sure to bring your additional costumes/accessories/tights/shoes WELL ORGANIZED IN A GARMENT BAG, ALL ITEMS LABELED WITH THEIR NAME, to help facilitate smooth changes.
  • Please send only ONE parent or guardian into the green room or dressing room area to sign your dancer in.
  • Each recital should be just under 2 hours long.
  • Dancers should be dropped off through Door 18
  • Ticket-holders should enter through Door 19 to reach the auditorium.
  • No photography or videography of any kind in the auditorium during Recital.  The Recital is being professionally recorded and everyone receives a copy included in your recital fees.  Enjoy the moment!
  • All dancers must stay for the entire recital so they can participate in the curtain call and recognitions at the end of the show.

Sunday 5/31 - No Classes, Recital Recovery

Dressing Room Assignments:

  • Parents DO NOT need to come back to help your dancers change but please do make sure to have all your dancers' costumes/accessories/tights/shoes well organized IN A GARMENT BAG, ALL ITEMS LABELED WITH THEIR NAME, to help facilitate smooth changes.
  • All dancers will remain in the green room/dressing rooms with their designated class volunteer(s) or teachers at all times when not on stage, through the end of the show. We expect all families to stay for the entirety of the show to cheer on all the dancers and participate in the curtain call and recognitions at the end of the show.
  • No parents are allowed in the green room or dressing rooms during the show except the designated volunteers, and parents of Mini and Petite Company dancers (if desired).

Backstage Dressing Rooms - Mezza, Junior, Senior, and Elite Core Performance Companies

Locker Rooms - Mezza, Jr, Senior, and Elite Crews; Teen/Adult Classes

Green Room - Children's Program Classes + Mini & Petite Companies and Crews

  • All students age 10 and under MUST be signed in and out of the green room by a parent or guardian.
  • Private changing areas and staff helpers will be available for all students with costume changes.

Located in the lower level of the Lee-Harrison Shopping Center on Langston Boulevard, our original location offers our greatest selection of dance classes.

Springfield

Located on Fullerton Road, next to Flight Trampoline Park, our Springfield location offers both a dance and a music program.
